I am an Institute for Historic Buildings Conservation Associate Member (Management).

I started my career working in museums like Bramall Hall in Stockport and Boughton House near Kettering, and later went on to specialise in historic buildings conservation and interpretation stopping for a while within the canal restoration sector.

My 25-year career in this field is testament to an unwavering devotion to helping people grow through access to heritage.

I believe that contact with the physical remains of our past is the surest way to tap into the energy and wisdom that is passed down from our ancestors and whether we know it or not living and working in old buildings makes people feel better.
